Two candid moments from Basket Night.

First we have a glimpse of a young teenage girl wearing fetching French braids. Hers were formed with the plaits inside-out. I can’t resist a snap of French braids; especially when highlighted in early evening sunshine.

Another look at a teenager is of this boy in an attention-grabbing hat.  I don’t know if this is a current trend, or if he just found a unique item to express his individuality. The metal-studs on a baseball hat were just amusing to see; the punk aesthetic has woven itself into the mainstream sensibility.

He certainly stood out in a sea of teenagers.
