Happy Rosh Hashanah!
To those of you who observe and celebrate the Jewish New Year:
May you be inscribed and sealed in the book of life; enjoy sweetness even in times of sorrow; endeavor to be slow to anger and quick to forgiveness; and, experience gratitude for things big and small.

May your year be rich and replete with blessings as a pomegranate is rich and filled with seeds.
If you grow your own fruits, vegetables or flowers, by all means: photograph them to enjoy the results of your labors for a time later time in the year that is long past the harvest.
I grew this beautiful pomegranate fruit on the bush that I planted four years ago in my front yard. This was the first year that it produced flowers and fruits that were not eaten by rabbits, coyotes, or birds. It was truly a miracle.
