Rebel Donuts
We celebrated the start of the celebration of Festival of the Miracle of Lights with a party. One of our guests brought a fun dessert for the end of the meal. It was a well recieved two dozen blinged up jelly-filled yeasted donuts (aka sufganiyot) from a local bakery that specializes in these baked goods.
When placing the order my friend said, “Just Chanukah them up!” And this is how they came out. Filled with Lemon, apple, raspberry and strawberry jams. Yum.

OOOOOhhhh yeah. These were too good. I sent my husband to work with the leftovers. His office mates pounced on them. If the donuts had remained in my kitchen my children would have wanted to eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner.
