My Freedom 4th evening was spent on the same field as where the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta takes place. We arrived mid-afternoon to secure a spot on the grassy field for viewing the fireworks display at dark.

Here are 2 shots not cross-posts. Everywhere I looked, there were people decked out in outfit variants of red white and blue. These two images were made of ordinary people who crossed my path.

I had a blissful time people watching before it was enough for the fireworks to begin.
