While male peacocks get all the media attention, female peahens get short shrift. Because the ladies are covered in mostly drab colored feathers, they don’t elicit the overt visual excitement as the male counterparts. This gal was near the showoff from my previous post. She rested in an elegant pose for her headshot. Her brown feather dusting tiara and simple turquoise collar was much less showy, but much more replicable for my own aesthetic sense for fashion and interior design.
