This is my second entry into our sixth photo assignment (see the original task here).
The fun about taking pictures in black and white is that when you shoot in monochromatic it can either simplify or intensify an image (or both).
Walking through the “New Territories” exhibit at the museum of art and design in Columbus Circle/NYC, I was dazzled by a range of shapes, textures, and the latest trends in art, design, and craft throughout Latin America.
While many objects caught my attention, I was most drawn in by this pair of his and her hats. There was something so solid and clean about their shape and significance. It’s also neat how the shadow creates the form of a second shape of a hat/visor.
