South Padre Island is a laid-back barrier island resort town, on the Gulf Coast, outside of Corpus Christi, Texas, United States.  The population is under 3,000 people. During the year (and I’m told, over spring break especially) it receives lot of tourists because it has 34 miles of beautiful white sand and clear emerald water.
