Windsurfing Boards On the Roof

In areas near the ocean, it’s not unusual to see windsurfing equipment on a roof rack. On Boston’s North Shore, there aren’t too many places where a person is going to be able to do any hardcore, reliable surfing; I’m guessing these boards were for windsurfing.
