Las Vegas | Disco Car Drives Down The Strip
I stood on the southbound lane side of Las Vegas Boulevard to consider the view. In the foreground, pedestrians blurred out, the slow but steady flow of vehicular traffic blurred, and in still bright lights in the background were the Paris Hotel Casino’s Eiffel tower and its hot air balloon along with the Miracle Mile Shops.
While making a few long exposures, along came a young driver in his chalkboard black sports car strung up with blue holiday lights. He rolled down his window and leaned over to offer me his thumbs up: he was psyched seeing my tripod and my attempt to include his decorated car in the shot. I waved back, enjoying the moment and the view of the urban scene.
