This pair of shoes doesn’t appear to be thrown, but rather placed deliberately. It’s hard to imagine how someone could take off her shoes and forget about being barefoot. When I saw this pair of ballet flats along a park path, all sorts of stories flew by in my mind. None had a resolution. Other than my snapping the photo and sharing it with you, that’s how this story ends.
