The sun sets in the West, so the land edge I was standing on faced south. It wasn’t much of a view. It was, however, the southern most tip of Florida’s mainland, at sunset.
You can see that it is a quiet and underwhelmingly simple view of water and sky. Once upon a time, there was a lot more lively activity from this view, because a dock would have been placed on top of those pilings. It is long, long gone.
Really pretty picture, silent and quite imposing.
