When Art Imitates | Part One

So many of my recent posts have been from my visit to the mural-tastic eye-candy of an art loving neighborhood of Wynwood, Miami, you may be wondering if I will ever get the heck out of it already on this blog. Well, here is my transition.

I enjoyed two large Wynwood art pieces that made surreal allusions to “wild life” in South Florida; in places like the Everglades, or one of many other nature reserves across the region.

Here is a double-header treat: my first image pairing.

I like this gator’s coordinated outfit, painted nails and matching MP3 player.

This, my friends, is the real deal. A Florida ‘gator, seen comfortably–from a distance–on the boardwalk along the Anhinga Trail in Everglades, National Park.
