Textures and shapes may receive more generous attention when given a Black and White treatment.
This is my 5/6 installment from our 6th photo assignment.
Sycamore trees produce a bristled fruit. I have read that Native Americans found a variety of medicinal uses for sycamore, ranging from cold and cough remedies to gynecological treatments. I’ve also read that sycamores may be tapped for a potable liquid that may be boiled down to a syrup, like sugar maples.
I like the pendulous ball shaped fruit, which resembles a dangling pom-pom.
