Long ago, I had a group of friends who would throw great parties. At these events, the real fun never got started until someone pulled out a rubber chicken. When I came upon this mural in Wynwood, Miami, the imagery reminded me of those antics.
I was determined to get the entire posse of characters into my photograph, including that yellow chicken. Using my 10-22mm wide-angle lens, I kept pulling back my tripod backwards, further into the street, until everyone fit into the frame. The blue sky materialized at just the right time.
NOW is the time to Pack! See ya in Florida.
